Overview

Geo Extension is a lightweight Frappe app that improves how users input and manage address data.
It extends the standard Address doctype by turning its static address fields into filterable, country-aware autocompletes, drastically reducing data entry errors and speeding up the process.

Instead of typing states, county and cities manually, users can select from real administrative divisions powered by preloaded geographic datasets.

Usage

1. Open any form containing an Address field (e.g., Customer, Supplier, or Delivery Note).

2. Select a Country — the address fields below will automatically adjust to show the correct hierarchy.

3. Start typing in the State field to see autocomplete suggestions.

4. Once you select a state, the City field filters automatically.

5. Continue selecting until all address fields are filled, then save the record.
